Status: Completed
September 2021 - February 2022
Indian Temple Architecture inherently provides for both the sacred ritual and comfort of the devotee. The present form of the Shree Chamundeshwari temple is credited to Mummadi Krishna Raja Wadiyar and follows Later Vijayanagara style of architecture. Predating this is the Shree Mahabaleshwara temple which is dated to 12th century Hoysala period. The stylistic practices found in the above temples are kept in mind while proposing this Concept under the PRASHAD National Mission.
